PICNIC AT DUSK

The waterfall was closed due to a croc and the campsite that I’d booked had someone else’s van parked in it. A kind handwritten note explaining they’d stopped at the wrong site, nothing left to do but prepare a platter, pour a wine and have a picnic while the sun painted the rockface all shades of peach.
